Mattresses are vented to prevent moisture build up: Quilted air permeable fabric cover on one side and a hygienic wipe clean cover on the reverse. Waterproof nappy protector adjusts as baby grows allowing baby to be placed at the foot end of the cot. The removable cover is hand washable and may be put through a short spin but must not be tumble dried.
